as the ones I had were falling apart. I ordered these by mistake as the slippers I originally ordered became unavailable. The price was the same so I took a chance. I was glad I did. Since I ordered these well before Christmas, they arrived in just a few days. I noticed the great quality as soon as I took them out of the box. The inner sheepskin material was extremely thick. The hard soles were also thick and should last a while as I go outside in the morning with them on. The construction of the slipper as a whole is excellent. They are thick, strong and feel great on my feet. The warmth they provide is wonderful. I am very happy that I bought this item. I would definetly purchase another pair if they are still available.
